anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn’t he danced his did
Makes you wonder it that's what Fred Astaire felt like. Then there is poetry that could just as well be a note on your fridge:
William Carlos Williams
This is Just to Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold.
Did you notice the poems are short? Gotta love modern poetry.
